The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill will be voted on the 22nd of October 2008 in the House of Commons.

A Mhuire an Chnoic, a Bhanríon na hÉireann, guigh ar na leanaí i mbroinn.

Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, pray for the unborn.

As Anita, who is herself lives in Northern Ireland posted in her comment, "The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill will be voted on the 22nd of October 2008 in the House of Commons. This Bill is at risk of resulting in changes to the 1967 Abortion Act to Northern Ireland to legalise partial birth abortion."

So there is still time to sign this petition:

Please also sign this postcard petition:

"Extending the Abortion Act is against the wishes of the vast majority of people in Northern Ireland."

Hi, George--

Nice blog! Great job disseminating the proLife news and information in Ireland. This is certainly of great concern that the Culture of Death is pushing so hard in that great Catholic land. May Our Lady of Knock and dear St Patrick continue to pray for the people of that country and for the government there to resist the forces of the culture of death.

Thank you George for taking the time to bring more attention to a very important cause. I don't think people realize that doing nothing makes us guilty of aiding in it. I once saw this compared to Hitler and it was something I had never compared before but we were all in shock of what Hitler did. How horrible Hitler was right? Well this is no different, but its out in the open and we can make a difference. To stand by and not to do what we CAN to make it stop makes us just as guilty if not worse because what we can do is by far more simple the what was involved in stopped Hitler or standing up to him.
I hope everyone takes a stand while we still can.
