God's merciful love for those who have been involved in abortion and His desire to forgive and heal.

As those who follow this blog know, I try to help bring to public attention the horror of abortion. I also want to remind those who see this blog, especially women who have had abortions and are hurting because of it, that God still loves you so very much and He wants to heal you. So don't despair, because God's mercy is for you. Just reach out to Him and ask Him for forgiveness and to heal you. There are people also you can go to who are there to help people hurt by abortion to find reconciliaiton and healing.

One such organization is called Rachel's Vineyard. At Rachel's Vineyard there are weekends for healing after abortion that are offered throughout the year in locations across the United States and Canada, with additional sites internationally. For more information please go to: http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/

For women who are pregnant and don't know what to do, and are considering having an abortion, I want to tell you that there are alternatives. You don't have to be alone in this, and no one at all ever has the right to force you into an abortion... not even your own parents.

If you are thinking of having an abortion for any reason at all, please know that it isn't going to help, however convenient or sensible it may seem right now, and there is an enormous number of women out there who have had abortions who will tell you the same thing. There are options to abortion. The following link takes you to a website that provides information about abortion, pregnancy tests, STD's, adoption, parenting, medical referrals, housing, and many other issues. The toll-free number is available to callers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Ashley Judd in ad attacks Sarah Palin. Accusation of "senseless slaughter" of wolves. Call to the left to wake up to the slaughter of unborn babies

In an ad by the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, Ashley Judd gives her voice to an accusation against Sarah Palin which claims that she promotes what the ad calls a "cruel, unscientific and senseless practice." The ad is referring to the predator control programs meant to protect vulnerable wildlife such as moose and caribou which native populations in most of the small villages in Alaska depend on to feed their families. As Sarah Palin said in a statement made February 3, 2009, in response to attacks by the Defenders of Wildlife, the ad campaign "distorts the facts about Alaska’s wildlife management programs. Alaskans depend on wildlife for food and cultural practices which can’t be sustained when predators are allowed to decimate moose and caribou populations."

The fact is that wolves and bears are quite efficient at hunting moose and caribou, and when left on their own, the wolves drive the moose and caribou populations down. If that is allowed to continue un-checked, the Eskimos can't catch enough fish to sustain themselves. I asked a woman I know who herself is an Inupiat (Eskimo) if she had heard about these things and she said: "we been hearing this for days.. i think sarah made a good choice.. there is alot of wolves killing off moose and caribou all over the state."

Now I'm aware that one of the causes many in the liberal circles agree on, are the rights of Native Americas, including I would think, the Inupiat of Alaska. I for one am a supporter of American Indian rights and believe strongly that amends have not fully been made for wrongs done to them. I certainly believe it would be wrong to ignore them now, which I think people like Ashley Judd and those at the Defenders of Wildlife Campaign are doing, whether consciously or without awareness of the plight of the Eskimos. Perhaps they don't realise what all is at stake here, and I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. But the fact is that hunting is an important part of their lives, and should be protected, and that is something that Alaska’s wildlife management programs do. As for the charge that it is unscientific, Alaska Game & Fish Deptartment biologists use scientific principles in the design and implementation of the predator control plan. As Sarah Palin also said in her response to the ad, "Our predator control programs are scientific and successful at protecting vulnerable wildlife." Presumably, the left won't buy that, and will continue to use whatever means they can to smear anything

If you're wondering at this point what this post has to do with Pro-Life issues, I will now point out again how Ashley Judd, in the ad against Sarah Palin called the killing of the wolves a "cruel" and "senseless practice", and a "horrific program" in which the wolves "die a brutal death." How I wish that she and other celebrities would aim such words at the holocaust of abortion, where in America alone, thousands of babies are slaughtered every day by the "senseless practice" of abortion which is a most "cruel" and "horrific program" which pro-abortion activists insist is a "right."
