Thoughts on Obama's thinking about the killing of unborn and born children.

Obama denies the rights of BORN CHILDREN! Why? To protect the "choice" to kill the unborn in the womb. This in effect admits that born children can legally be murdered. Has this country lost its mind so much that we do not see how twisted that thinking is?? If born children can be murdered to protect the choice to kill the unborn, what else could "justify" killing born children for the sake of convenience? What is to stop other monstrocities from happening if we as a country accept that kind of thinking? What moral ground will we have to stand on in objection to that if we accept this?
Let's be clear, because it is time for clarity. I'm shouting it from the rooftop:

YOU CANNOT KILL BORN CHILDREN FOR WHATEVER REASON. IT IS MURDER. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS AND WILL NOT CEASE TO FIGHT AGAINST THIS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY WHICH MOST CERTAINLY IS INCONSISTENT WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES WHICH COME FROM GOD. KILLING OF THE UNBORN IS ALSO MURDER AND WE WILL NOT CEASE TO FIGHT FOR THEM UNTIL ABORTION IS OUTLAWED COMPLETELY.

Obama says Sermon on the Mount Supports Same-Sex Unions - Also Argues that Support for Abortion is Consistent with his Christian faith

"In 2002, Obama voted against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act that protects the rights of children who survived failed abortion attempts. Obama has argued that recognizing the rights of born children under the 14th amendment would lead to the equal protection of the unborn and would thus legally forbid abortion. "

John Paul II in confirming the Church’s condemnation of abortion in Evangelium vitae:

"Therefore, by the authority which Christ conferred on Peter and his Successors, in communion with the Bishops …. I declare that direct abortion, that is, abortion willed as an end or as a means, always constitutes a grave moral disorder, since it is the deliberate killing of a human being. This doctrine is based upon the natural law and upon the written Word of God, is transmitted by the Church’s Tradition and taught by the ordinary and universal Magisterium."

Fight the FOCA: so-called "Freedom Of Choice Act"

FOCA is a radical attempt to enshrine abortion-on-demand into American law;
FOCA seeks to sweep aside existing, protective laws that I and the majority of Americans support;
FOCA will prevent states from enacting protective measures in the future.

Please sign this petition to fight the so-called freedom of choice act. http://www.fightfoca.com/

The FightFOCA petition will be sent to key Members of Congress upon the re-introduction of the Freedom of Choice Act in the 111th Congress, and to President-Elect Obama.

Nazis Killed the Mentally Ill

Remember Terri Shiavo? I do. Many, many others remember her too and we aren't letting her be forgotten. We're not letting what happened to her be forgotten here in our country America, which I love, land of the free whose citizens have the right to "Life, Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness."

Life............the right to life.......... which was taken away from Terri Shiavo.

From an article on the Catholic news site ZENIT there is an interesting and disturbing article you might want to read.

"In October of 1939 Hitler began a euthanasia program with the aim of exterminating the mentally ill and the handicapped. People with mental illnesses and people with handicaps were considered "useless eaters" and "life unworthy of life." The Nazis began the killings with lethal injections and starvation, and went on to killing in gas chambers."

Look at that ... "lethal injection and STARVATION..." Terri Shiavo was not dying. She was severely disabled mentally and physically. In our country, where the right to life is supposedly acknowledged, Terri Shiavo was allowed to be starved to death. A person would probably go to jail for starving a sick animal, but it was allowed for Terri Shiavo.

We need to wake up America, and the rest of the world where such things happen...........look at what's happening. Let's not follow down the road of evil the Nazis did.

The dictatorship of relativism and abortion.

I posted this on another site in speaking about abortion and I decided to go ahead and post it here too, since the danger of relativism is one which needs to be seen and overcome.

Pope Benedict XVI spoke of the "dictatorship of relativism". Although not all Christians are Catholic Christians, relativism is something we should all take a careful look at, because unfortunately, relativism is rampant in society and it has even influenced Christian thinking to such an extent, that although we accept that the truth exists, many are hesitant to actually say what it is. That kind of relativism isn't what our Lord Jesus promised, and some careful re-examination of things needs to take place. Someone mentioned abortion, and that is something that is literally a matter of life and death.

When it comes to abortion, the matter comes down to this question: Is the baby in the womb a living person with a soul from the first moment of conception or not? For secular society, it's easier to understand how confusion over this can exist, since many don't accept that the baby in the womb is a living person with a soul or that anyone at all has a soul. But even those who don't believe in the existence of the soul, generally do accept that we all have rights; at least those of us no longer in the womb of our mothers. They also generally accept that murder is wrong, even though the laws society has against murder doesn't require that anyone believe in the existence of the soul. So why isn't the law against murder extended to protect the life of the uborn when it comes to abortion? I say "when it comes to abortion" because in some places in America, a person who murders a pregnant woman can be convicted of DOUBLE homicide. Why "double" in a country that allows the killing of unborn babies by the thousands every day? Again, it's understandable that such confusion exists among unbelievers, but among Christians such insanity should be easy to spot. Sadly, relativism is rampant in society and it has even influenced Christian thinking to such an extent, that although they accept that the truth exists, no one can actually say what it is. That kind of relativism isn't what our Lord Jesus promised, and some careful re-examination of things needs to take place.

For now, in speaking of abortion, let's consider this passage from the holy Bible, to shed light on this.

For behold as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. (Luke 1:44)

These words were proclaimed by Elizabeth, who was at the time pregnant with John the Baptist, to the Blessed Virgin Mary when she came to visit. Although still within the womb incapable of conscious reasonable thought, the baby is still alive and with a soul. Only a living soul can experience the presence of joy as shown in Luke 1:44. Whereas unbelievers will deny this, there is no excuse for Christians who are told, "Thou shalt not kill." As I have learned, the word for kill in this commandment speaks of murder of the innocent. Let's also consider carefully what is said in the following passages of Holy Scripture:

Psalm 139:13 For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise thee, for thou art fearful and wonderful. Wonderful are thy works! Thou knowest me right well;
15 my frame was not hidden from thee, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth.
16 Thy eyes beheld my unformed substance; in thy book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

And again:

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

From these passages from the Book of Psalms and Jeremiah, it is seen that it is the Lord Himself Who forms the baby in the womb; His unseen hand guiding the course of nature of which He is the Creator. He is Sovereign over all life, and yet many presume to unlawfully take the Lord's authority upon themselves and call the killing of the unborn a "right". The fact that not everyone believes that the unborn are people with rights is not a sufficient reason to tolerate abortion.

In our history, the humanity and personhood of other peoples have also been denied, like the Indians of the Americas whose rights were ignored and lives taken. Denying the personhood of others makes it easier to kill them when they are seen as an inconvenience. Terrible, horrific atrocities have happened because people's personhood and rights were denied. Another infamous event in our history is the Nazi holocaust. Today it is the unborn, who are dehumanized in such a way that this barbaric practice has become institutionalized as "law". The culture of death exists, and tragically even many Christians have come to cooperate with it.

Let's make no mistake about it. Abortion is another holocaust.

The horrific reality of abortion. Watch and see.

Those who call themselves pro-choice should know what the choice to have an abortion means, and just what happens to the baby in the mother's womb. If you really don't believe that the babies in the mother's womb are really persons with rights, then you ought not have any problems watching this video of dismembered aborted babies.

If you are Pro-Life, then this will be very difficult to watch, as it was for me. What it shows is worse than any horror movie. It will take courage, but let others see it. It is important that the horrific reality about abortion be known!
Lord have mercy on us all.
